Carrie Beinert, Vice President
Carrie has lived in Linda Vista since 1989 and has owned a skin care business in Linda Vista since 2001. She lived in Europe while growing up. After returning to the States, she graduated from business college, went to work in the hotel industry and then to the phone company.
Carrie is past president of the Linda Vista Community Development Corporation, a member of the Morena Business Association and the Chairperson for the Linda Vista 75th Anniversary Committee.
John Nielsen, Secretary
Served in the U.S. Navy and chose to live in Linda Vista after he left the service. He is a homeowner in Friars Village and a member of the Linda Vista Planning Group
John is attending San Diego Mesa College.
Dottie Greenan, Treasurer
Served since 2005-2016
Dottie is a retired accountant. She is a graduate of San Diego Mesa College and San Diego State University. She has lived in Linda Vista for 42 years.
Dottie is also a member of the Friends of the Linda Vista Branch Library. She has served as the accountant for the Linda Vista Multi-Cultural Fair and Parade since 2013.
Doug Beckham, Board Member
Linda Vista Town Council President 1999, 2004-2006, 2014-2015
Born and raised in Linda Vista. Graduated Kearny High School in 1966. Servws as Chair of the Linda Vista Recreation Council. Long-time member of the Linda Vista Planning Group, member if the Kearny Alumni Association, and former former President of Kearny Mesa Kiwanis. City of San Diego proclaimed November 10, 2015 as "Doug Beckham Day."
Greg Delgadillo, Board Member
Was raised in Linda Vista and returned back to Linda Vista and his neighborhood home. Greg graduated from Kearny High School and is a long-term member of the Kearny Alumni Association. He has a landscaping business.
Albert Demoran, Board Member
Has previously served as the Vice President of the Linda Vista Town Council. Al has lived in Linda Vista since the 1960's. He graduated from Kearny High School and a ling-term member of the Kearny Alumni Association. Al is the current President of the Kearny Mesa Kiwanis.
Janet Kaye, Board Member
Janet received her nursing degrees from University of Pennsylvania, the University of Phoenix, and has been a registered nurse in Hawaii, Michigan and California. Janet was the planner for the first hospice in San Diego. She and her family have lived in Linda Vista since 1974. Janet was the Chair of the Linda Vista Planning Group and President of Community Development Corporation. Has served as a Director & board member for the Linda Vista Multi-Cultural Fair 30 years.
Dr. Tom Kaye, Board Member and Past President (2007-2011, 2015-16)
Graduated U.S. Naval Academy; served on Navy surface ships. Ph.D. from University of Michigan. Researcher at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Became the Deputy Executive Director for a research lab on Pt. Loma as a Senior Executive for the Dept. of Navy. Lived in Linda Vista since 1974. Foundation for SD Mesa College; Citizens' Oversight Committee for SD Community College District. Webmaster for this site; publishes Linda Vista View newsletter.
Pastor Burnie Lund, Board Member
Burnie is the Assistant Pastor for Canyon Ridge Baptist Church in Linda Vista. He attended the U. S. Naval Academy, where he received a B.S. in Chemistry in 2003. Reporting to sea duty at San Diego he was looking for a local church. Burnie became the Music Director in 2004, the Assistant Pastor in 2008 and began working with teens in 2011. He has been happily married to his wife, Leslie, since 2010 and they a baby daughter.
Dorothy Winnard, Board Member
Dorothy Jane Winnard has taught piano in Linda Vista, since 1980 when she moved here from the United Kingdom. She holds a diploma from the London College of Music and an M.A. in Music from San Diego State University. She is a member and past President of the San Diego branch of the Music Teachers Association of California and serves as the Arts Director of the Town Council.
Gabriel De Simone, Board Member
Gabriel De Simone is a student at Mesa College working on an Associates in Political Science. He is involved with several Manufactured/Mobile Home Advocacy groups, including Secretary-Treasurer of Advocates for Mobile Home Enforcement and Region 7 Associate Manager of Golden State Manufactured-Home Owners League. He has been serving on the Board since 2017 and is the current chair of the Membership Committee.
